Resequenced is a pay-to-play mystical adventure game wherein you will investigate the sudden and mysterious disappearance of a university scholar’s parents. In this role-playing game, you will play the role of this college student aiming to unravel the truth, but it won’t be easy as her DNA will be modified causing her to acquire unique abilities.

Make extraordinary abilities work to your advantage

In this story-rich RPG, you’ll be playing as Lux Hart, a college student who’ll find out during a summer break visit that her parents are missing. Without any lead, you will venture into a 3D world adventure and discover a shocking connection between your parents and a cryptic underground agency called The Redaction Commission. However, they are fast enough to keep you mum. 

Through the Commission’s state-of-the-art alien technology, they will edit and, as the title suggests, resequence your DNA enabling you to acquire extraordinary powers. Here, you will stumble upon a wide range of enemy creatures from different methodology, urban legends, and horror stories. You can fight them with your four classes of DNA mods—incinerate, freeze, shock, and invoke. In addition, guns will be an available weapon to arm yourself with. 

Both of your guns and skills can be upgraded. The collected loot from fallen enemies or battlefields can improve the attributes of your gun. For skill level up, on the other hand, you must acquire enough extra points to boost specific abilities. Furthermore, you can style Lux Heart from her hair to her clothing. The only drawback lies with its poor gun combat system that doesn’t feel genuine at times. 

Magical and mystifying adventure

Resequenced’s gameplay can be reminiscent ofBioshock, which allows you to switch combat weapons between guns and supernatural powers. However, the fire gun mechanics are extremely far from reality, and they won’t satisfy your yearning for shooting games. Nonetheless, the battle using mythical powers will truly fascinate you. From its gripping story, exploration, and magical combat, this open-world game is an experience hard to miss.
