Darksiders III is a hack and slash action-adventure game based around the mythology of the four horsemen of the apocalypse. In Darksiders III you play as Fury, the first female protagonist of the series, as you aim to travel the world hunting and taking down the seven deadly  sins.

Darksiders III follows on from the previous two Darksiders games, as in each one you play as a different member of the four horsemen from Christian mythology. In the game your aim is to hunt down the anthropomorphisation of the seven deadly sins. Darksiders III uses this mythology to paint a rich and detailed, nightmarish world. Despite the heavy Christian influence in its mythology, the game does not dwell on the religious undertones so it is accessible to a wide audience. As Fury, your weapons of choice are your whip and your magic, which you use to slay hordes of enemies in fast paced, adrenaline pumping combat. 

Taking the series in a new direction

As the first female playable character in the series, Fury's play style breathes new life into the standard hack and slash, dual wielding swords of its predecessors. Fans of the series will find plenty of both new and familiar things to enjoy.
