Townsmen VR is a relatively standard city building game at its core. Which is by no means a negative thing. The game is well polished and plays smoothly. The graphics are well done, and the art style is cohesive and pleasing to look at. The soundtrack is a standard medieval affair, and works well in the setting. Bringing this kind of game to virtual reality adds a nice new wrinkle to this classic and very popular genre. You can literally pick up townsmen and place them where you want them to be. Your power as a virtual reality god in the sky extends to being able to clear forests with the swipe of a hand, and create storms. Unlock new buildings that can be built, recruit soldiers, and generally help your town prosper.

Well Polished

Townsmen VR is a well crafted city building game that is easily worth the price of admission. In the interests of balance, it's worth noting that the game could use more content and is a little on the short side. But these gripes aren't enough to make this Townsmen VR not recommendable.
