Digging Together is a cooperative digging adventure where players venture underground to unearth hidden treasure using shovels, tools, and a bit of strategy. It revolves around navigating destructible terrain as you dig deeper, while working alongside or against friends. You can team up with up to four players or switch into competitive modes. 

Teamwork or rivalry 

Digging Together is straightforward. You and your teammates pick roles such as Digger, Scanner, Carrier, or Energy Master, each offering a slightly different contribution to the team’s efforts. Switching between tools and upgrading them as you collect resources adds mild progression, while dynamic elements like falling dirt, critters of chaos underground, and explosive dynamite introduce environmental hazards and opportunities. 

With multiple game modes and a wacky set of friends, this game encourages repeated sessions with different groups and approaches. Customization of roles and tools, along with the unpredictability of the underground terrain, means no two digs feel exactly the same. However, the game doesn't have deeper mechanics and progression, and solo sessions can feel repetitive.
