Evil Dead: The Game
Video game adaptation of Evil Dead
Become a master of light in this FPS game
Towaga: Among Shadows is a thrilling action game that will put your skills, perseverance, and resilience to the test. Set in a dark and futile world, you’re haunted by perilous creatures with one goal in mind—to tear you to shreds.
Towaga: Among Shadows comes from developer Sunnyside Games Inc., who is behind Nocturnal. It boasts an exciting 2-dimensional shooter gameplay. Other than shooting brazen beings, one of your main objectives is to combat the darkness around you by becoming a master of light. Travel across sacred temples and uncharted lands to achieve your goal and hopefully be saved from darkness.
As you venture into the dark world of Towaga: Among Shadows, you’re able to discover unruly spells that can make or break your success in becoming a master of light. The game boasts over 70 distinct levels, with each level becoming significantly tougher than the previous one. However, there’s no need to worry because you can hone your battle skills by engaging in bloody combat with enemies you encounter.
The Towaga game has four game modes, one of which is the multiplayer mode that allows you to team up with other players. As a result, you can find it easier to defeat dangerous creatures, fast-track your mastery of light, and win against the forces of darkness. Moreover, top players who have completed a wide array of challenging quests can showcase their prowess in the in-game leaderboard.
On top of that, you’ll enjoy the game’s exceptional graphics influenced by classic animated films and backed by an immersive soundtrack. However, it’s important for players to note that once you finish the story mode, the game doesn’t allow you to repeat the story stages despite having a “come back” option on the screen, therefore locking your achievements out of reach.
Overall, Towaga: Among Shadows is a pretty decent attempt at a shooter game. It has everything you need to have a great time—interesting storyline, multiple levels, scary enemies, and a multiplayer mode. Moreover, its commendable graphics make it more enjoyable and pleasing to the eyes. However, the only drawback is that upon completing the story stages, it’s quite difficult to go back and claim your achievements.
