The Forgotten Village (Demo) is the trial version of the role-playing game The Forgotten Village, developed by Indie Progress Studios for PC. In this simulation, players take on the role of a newly arrived citizen in a rundown village that needs complete reform.

Illustrated in stylized 3D graphics, The Forgotten Village (Demo) offers a limited but relaxing glimpse into the full game using farming simulator mechanics. Players must chop wood to gather logs, mine for stones and ores, and fix rickety objects in the village with a hammer to amass resources. 

You must complete quests by helping other villagers to mend their broken items and acquire tools and equipment as a reward. On a completely different note, the game needs further polishing in some aspects, like the item bar's placement, the objects' respawn rate, and the finishing touches on the graphics. 

Rebuild a community 

The Forgotten Village (Demo) offers a charming, laid-back preview of a game focused on rebuilding and community. While its mechanics are engaging and its style cozy, a few technical tweaks could improve the experience. Still, it shows promise as a relaxing role-playing sim for fans of village-life adventures.
