SuperEpic is a non-linear, fast-paced Metroidvania-style action-adventure game. This is set in the year 2084 when the only remaining video game development company is RegnantCorp, which has replaced all the fun in video games with addiction algorithms to control people’s minds and behavior. The story follows a rebellion of game enthusiasts who have warded off the evil corporation's control by replacing their software with classic games. Tan Tan, a raccoon, and his valiant llama steed, Ola, are ready to take on RegnantCorp and confront the pigs.

The game features a classic story-driven mode with handcrafted levels and multiple endings. It also has an RPG-like weapon and armor upgrading system, with tons of items to collect and discover. Additionally, there is an unlockable procedural "roguelite mode" and optional cross-media content.
