Stoneshard is a premium role-playing game for PC developed by Ink Stains Games. It’s a roguelike adventure set in Medieval times and boasts tactical turn-based battles. In it, players will take on the role of a traveling mercenary trying to make a living in a war-torn land and survive all kinds of dangers.

Life on the road

In essence, Stoneshard is a survival craft RPG adventure during the Middle Ages, wherein you play as a traveling mercenary trying to get by as wars rage across the land of Aldor. Take on and fulfill contracts, grow stronger, and witness the aftermath of battles as villages lie in ruin, all while trying to survive and not get killed in the process.

Start your journey with a small caravan and upgrade it over time to recruit followers whose knowledge and skills you can use. There are no character classes in the game, and you instead get to create your own build with over 200 abilities and 400 gear to unlock. Engage in tactical turn-based battles against factions, cults, and brigands you’ll inevitably get yourself mixed up with.

Delve into procedurally generated dungeons and face deadly monsters in hopes of finding precious loot you can sell or trade. Heal your wounds with medicine and concoctions, and keep your psyche in check by maintaining high morale. Having said all that, Stoneshard is still in Early Access and development is ongoing, so it will not be the full complete experience yet.
