Spell Wizard is a premium action game for PC by developer Rushedev and is a roguelike adventure wherein players take on the role of a wizard battling hordes of monsters using a variety of magical spells. The unique premise here is that instead of aiming and attacking, they will type out words to unleash their abilities on enemies. 

Spell typing 

In essence, Spell Wizard is an action roguelike with typing mechanics for its combat. You’re a wizard fighting waves of monsters with corresponding words attached to them, and you need to type those words out to attack them with your spells. The combat is a combination of speed, accuracy, and carefully choosing targets based on proximity to avoid getting attacked. 

Collect gems throughout your run, which you will use to unlock new abilities and upgrades to help you unleash more powerful attacks and increase your chances of survival. One thing that could be improved is the font style used, or adding an option to switch to a different one, as some words can be confusing to read at times. 

A fun and unique twist 

In a word, Spell Wizard puts a nice spin on the action roguelike formula by incorporating typing gameplay mechanics that change the experience in an engaging and challenging way. Aside from the minor issue mentioned above, this is a solid game worth checking out. if you’re a fan of the genre.
