Shovel Knight Showdown is an action game by Yacht Club Games. The action game features a competitive variation of the known indie game title Shovel Knight. Players can choose from the cast of Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove, from the heroic Shovel Knight and Shield Knight to the villainous Plague Knight and Spectre Knight. The game comes with different game modes, Story Mode and Multiplayer Mode. The Story Mode is a multi-stage adventure where every individual character has their own series of battles, score challenges, minigames, rivals and final encounter to challenge. The Multiplayer Mode hosts up to four players for endless duels. Players compete in multiplayer challenges like Gem Clash and Showdown. This game still retains the core gameplay mechanics of Shovel Knight, at the same time showcases an outstanding soundtrack and pixel art.
