Sea of Radiation:Prologue is a free action game for PC by developer NightWalker. It is a top-down survival adventure set in the dark depths of the sea. In it, players will control a radioactive fish that must devour other creatures to evolve and survive various dangers that will come its way.

Similar to Bio Prototype, Sea of Radiation:Prologue features sci-fi themes for its premise and survival mechanics as players explore a perilous underwater landscape and face a diverse set of enemies. This version serves as a preview for the full game that is expected to be released sometime in May 2024.

Eat or be eaten

Sea of Radiation:Prologue takes place in a wherein nuclear waste is gradually propagating into the sea, infecting and mutating all underwater life in its wake. You will play as an ordinary fish and you need to survive by consuming others, mutating, and evolving in all kinds of unique ways that let you adapt to the changing environment and various dangerous situations.

When you've consumed enough creatures, you will reach evolution and will be given multiple evolutionary paths to choose that will impact what kind of abilities you will develop. Work your way up the food chain from easy prey to menacing predator that scours water for new victims. Shoot out energy orbs and breathe fire underwater—attack combinations are virtually limitless and let you develop your unique play style.

To add to the challenges, enemies randomly mutate in this game depending on the environment and encounter, making the experience quite unpredictable and roguelike even. Now, one thing that needs to be addressed promptly is with regard to language. Being originally developed in native Chinese, there are still some parts of the game that have untranslated text left, which makes things a bit confusing.
