There are limitless character builds possible since you can stack items freely and indefinitely for unique effects and synergies. There are special random events to gain special items and a dedicated endless mode to test how far your abilities will take you. Having said that, there is a steep learning curve to learning all in-game systems and mechanics, and the beginning tutorial doesn’t do much to ease you in.
