A descent into Miya’s mind

Miya Might Break offers a compact psychological horror experience. This premium adventure game’s story is centered on a once-celebrated prodigy confined within a deteriorating home. It explores suffocating routine, mounting pressure, and the fragile boundary between coping mechanisms and collapse.

Ritual, control, and quiet terror

In Miya Might Break, each night, Miya performs a meticulous ritual to steady her unraveling thoughts. What once soothed her now feels compulsory, almost surveilled. The presence of an unseen observer amplifies the tension, transforming repetitive actions into moments of paranoia. The domestic setting becomes oppressive, steeped in dread, and subtly surreal.

Miya’s only confidant is Mopa, her soft-spoken plush companion. Meanwhile, her volatile stepfather and the weight of former brilliance loom heavily. Miya now struggles under expectations she cannot reclaim, blurring the line between guidance, delusion, and emotional dependency. The experience is quite short, lasting only around 30 minutes.

A narrative-driven psychological adventure game

At roughly 30 minutes, the narrative in Miya Might Break branches into three endings shaped by belief and fear. Minimalist sound design—low hums, rhythmic cues—drives unease more than overt shocks. By the finale, uncertainty lingers over whether the ritual protects Miya’s sanity or quietly hastens its fracture.
