Milkmaid of the Milky Way is a point-and-click adventure game that takes place in Norway inYou play as Ruth, a young woman who lives alone on a remote farm. Ruth takes care of her cows and makes dairy products that her friend sells in the closest town. But the dairy business is not going well, and Ruth's life on the farm is lonesome and hard. At night, mysterious things keep happening to Ruth and her cows, making Ruth wonder if this is the life she wants.

One day, a giant golden ship descends from the sky, forcing Ruth on a journey that will change her life.
