Little Devil Inside is a premium action-adventure game for PC developed by Neostream Interactive. It is a third-person RPG that tells the story of a group of explorers, their lives, and their search for monsters and other supernatural events in a 19th-century inspired world.

Just like with Kena: Bridge of Spirits or Horizon Zero Dawn, Little Devil Inside features elements of survival, engaging combat, and open-world exploration in its core gameplay. All of this, wrapped inside a distinct art style that is just as charming and intriguing as its narrative that pulls players into its world.

What is it all about?

Little Devil Inside takes place in a 19th century, Victorian-inspired setting with some steampunk elements mixed in. You play as Billy, a swordsman under the employ of a research team led by Professor Vincent and his colleague, Dr. Oliver. Your task is to travel around the world in search of monsters and supernatural events, all in the name of creating an encyclopedia of "all phenomenal existence."

The game features two game modes, namely single-player and co-op multiplayer. The game takes place in multiple locations with varying environmental conditions that affect how you play. You will have an arsenal of weapons and tools to help you survive the journey and complete your mission. You do get to go back home in-between action to rest up, resupply, and plan your next move.

Lastly, the game incorporates some roguelike elements into the gameplay wherein if your character dies, it won't resurrect anymore. Instead, you will take on a new character to recover all your lost equipment. If you're interested in playing it, you'll have to wait a bit longer since it's not out yet and there is no official date for it either outside of a vague 2022 planned release.

A potentially great action-adventure

There is a lot of interesting things going on with Little Devil Inside. Its art style is rather distinct yet charming, has an intriguing narrative, and the combat looks solid and varied. Outside of a few previews, though, not much else is known about it. Nevertheless, this is a game that is worth keeping tabs on for more updates and an official release.
