This game is a team based first person shooter with a heavy emphasis on tactics. You will find yourself in a modern combat situation in a contemporary setting, which can can feel a bit burnt out at this point, with so many games in this setting and, of course, real world events. But whether or not you've had enough of the setting, the quality with which that setting is rendered is quite breathtaking. You can customise your character for that added personal touch, right down to a choice of different voices. One thing that Insurgency: Sandstorm is getting a name for (deservedly so) is its sound design, which is every bit as impressive as the games graphics. You can take part in 16 vs 16 multiplayer battles, and even take on the AI in a co-operative mode.

Great Multiplayer Game

This may well be one of the best multiplayer first person shooters of its time. It looks and sound great, and if you can get over the contemporary setting and lack of a story campaign, you will find an excellent first person shooter.
