Heroes of Mount Dragon is an action game for PC developed by RuniQ. It is a 3D side-scrolling beat-'em-up adventure set in a fantasy world of heroes who can wield the power of dragons. Venture across the land to battle dark forces and help restore order in the land.

Comparable to games like Absolum or Knights of Braveland, Heroes of Mount Dragon also features multiplayer gameplay, available via both couch and online co-op. There are also multiple unique characters to choose from with distinct skills to suit different play styles. 

Descended from dragons 

Heroes of Mount Dragon takes place in the mythical world of Una, a once peaceful and thriving land under the guidance and benevolence of The Celestial Dragon. With her gone, evil has risen to cause chaos and destruction in the world. The only hope left lies with special warriors who have been bestowed Dragon Souls and the immense power of the dragons they possess. 

Choose from eight dragon warriors and choose to play solo or team up with three other players in co-op mode. Learn and master each of their combat styles and abilities, and unleash their dragon form during challenging moments in battle. You can also utilize curses that have unique effects on enemies and can change the course of fights in an instant. 

Apart from the main Adventure Mode, you can step back from the campaign story and challenge other players in Competitive Brawls to test your skills, which is the game's PvP mode. Having said all that, the gameplay does get a bit dull and repetitive after a while, with few changes to the experience. It could use more content and variety to keep things fresh and interesting. 

Tame and lackluster 

All in all, Heroes of Mount Dragon offers solid combat and diverse heroes with unique dragon powers as you go off to save the world from the forces of evil. The multiplayer co-op gameplay makes it more fun to play with others. However, the lack of content is noticeable and takes away from the experience. Hopefully, future updates will address this soon.
