In Hadley’s Run: A Starship Saga, you must assume the role of a mining craft pilot from a South African space colony, Hadley Orah. In this game, as you embark on a journey in a distant alien galaxy with an untested piece of technology, you end up stranded alone. With this, you must survive in space and safely make it home.

Here, you’ll have a guide named Nia, wherein you need to team up together to defeat the DreadMek and save the universe. During your stay in the galaxy, you’ll battle against enemies and powerful bosses. Fight against an AI menace that threatens all existence. On the other hand, you can also meet various wonderful and weird aliens like a poetic nebula, an existential Void Droid Hoolihan, and Ick the Blob.

As you try to return home, you learn more about the galaxy you are staying in and how you feel you belong there as you build relationships and meet friends in space. Moreover, you can utilize over 80 upgrades that you can unlock, install, and equip, which can improve your chances of survival. However, the game doesn’t have a character development feature for the character of the mining craft pilot.
