DDoD is a premium action game for PC developed by The Future Entertainment Company. It’s an open-world survival shooter adventure set in a post-apocalyptic world overrun by a deadly disease. In it, players will traverse a dangerous landscape in search of a biological AI, utilizing the mutative effects of the virus to aid in their efforts. 

Comparable to games like ARC Raiders or HumanitZ, DDoD features co-op multiplayer gameplay that requires players work together to take on obstacles and challenges. It also utilizes a unique mutation mechanic to unlock special skills and traits to help them survive in their journey. 

Industrial wasteland 

The game takes place in the Purple Lands, a once-bustling industrial hub in the region that has fallen victim to a sentient substance known as The Fog, infecting everyone in its wake with adverse and violent effects. Play DDoD solo or team up with others to journey to the heart of the wasteland to locate the source of the anomaly, which is a biological AI entity. 

You can choose how you want to proceed with your runs, be it scavenging for resources, taking on side quests, or heading directly to your main objective. Explore various locations, such as research facilities and industrial ruins. Meet a wide cast of characters along the way, while engaging in deadly encounters against mutated humans and animals throughout. Plan your attacks and be mindful of your health and limited ammo. 

Step into the fog or inject boosters to gain superhuman powers and abilities to help you battle the monstrosity ahead. However, these effects are permanent, and some of them have adverse side effects you have to contend with. Now, as of this writing, there’s limited information about when the game will be available. However, there’s an ongoing playtest program that you can request access to for early previews.
