BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger is a 2d fighting game with an anime-inspired art style and fast-paced but complex gameplay. Released in 2008, the game spawned a host of sequels and is regarded as a classic by fighting game fans. You choose from one of 12 characters, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. In addition to basic attacks, each character has powerful special moves. Defense is important, but complicated by the fact that sustained attacks can break your guard. Despite its small number of characters, this is a deep and challenging fighting game classic.
