BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle is a 2D fighting game in which players choose teams of two characters and fight head-to-head for victory. In addition to characters from the BlazBlue series of fighting games, this game also includes characters from other fighting game franchises.

BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle features an initial roster of 40 characters, including both starting and DLC characters.
