Aragami 2 is an action game for PC made by Lince Works. In this third-person stealth game, players take on the role of a ninja assassin with the power to control the shadow. They will join the shadow clan to fight an invading army and free the people of Aragami.

Aragami 2 is the follow-up to the developer's first Aragami game that was released back in 2016. This sequel introduces improved stealth mechanics over its predecessor, as well as boasting betting graphics and art style. There's also a new story that revolves around facing the threat of an invading army.

What is it about?

In Aragami 2, you play as one of the last elite warriors of your kind, the Aragami, victims of a supernatural affliction that corrodes the body and devours the mind. Armed with the power to control the shadow with the Shadow Essence, you will carry out various assignments throughout multiple key locations in your village to fight off an invading army and help free your people from their enslavement.

There are two modes available for this game. A single-player campaign and a co-op mode that lets you play with up to 3 players. Movement is a key aspect in gameplay. From double jumps to air boosts, and hanging off a ledge, everything you do in the game just flows. This feeling extends to executing enemies or using your powers to conceal your presence.

There’s a sense of verticality in how levels were designed as each section of the map stands higher than the previous one. Missions are objective-based and done in stages, so each run requires a lot. If you're coming off from games like Nioh or Sekiro, Aragami 2 might feel a bit too easy at times. If you just want to channel your inner-Tenchu, though, you'll have a blast playing this.

A fun and light ninja stealth game

Put simply, Aragami 2 is serious, but playing it is such a delight. Jumping from rooftop to rooftop, grabbing onto ledges, or swooping down on enemies from above is a light and fluid experience. Some will find it to be too easy to play, but for everyone else, this is a ninja stealth game that will just be a lot of fun to play, regardless.
