Angelic Vale is a tactical RPG set in the kingdom of Belluna, where players navigate a story filled with conflict and choices. Players engage in strategic battles utilizing characters with unique skills and magic, while managing resources like MP that regenerates slightly with each turn. Additional troops can be acquired to enhance combat effectiveness, allowing for chain attacks. Notably, items obtained in battles cannot be sold, which impacts inventory management.

The gameplay includes character leveling after defeating enemies, rewarding players with rare items and gold based on battle performance.
