Hell Warders is a premium strategy game developed by Anti Gravity Game Studios for PC. It is a third-person RPG with tower defense elements. In it, players take on the role of warriors who are tasked with defending the world from an army of invading demons.

Just like Orcs Must Die! 3 or Dungeon Defenders II, Hell Warders takes a different approach from a typical tower defense game with its third-person over-the-shoulder perspective. It's a small change that turns the whole gameplay experience more immersive and combined with its RPG elements makes for engaging combat.

Repel the demon army

Hell Warders takes place in a dark fantasy world that is under the threat of chaos and destruction from an invading demon army. Humanity's last hope lies in a group of epic heroes who are on a quest to stop and repel the oncoming dark forces. You will take on the role of one of these warriors and battle using your powers and by building and putting up defenses.

You can choose from multiple class-based heroes, each with their own unique skills and abilities. You can choose to brave the battle solo or call allies in a four-player online co-op. In addition to your defenses, you can also deploy strategic troops, such as knights, catapults, and more. Place these units in key positions and upgrade them to gain an edge in your defense.

Completing levels will reward you with beacons, which you can use to upgrade your skills and unlock powerful artifacts that grant perks and bonuses. Some things that the game needs to work on in future updates would be the game balancing issues and poor enemy scaling, both of which can make the gameplay uneven and overly difficult at times. Hopefully, these problems get fixed sooner rather than later.

If you're a fan of both tower defense games and RPGs, Hell Warders is an interesting release to check out. Its dark fantasy world is visually impressive and haunting. It offers both solo and multiplayer matches, as well as a wide range of characters and building customization options to explore. The combat is engaging and offers plenty of enemies to face.
