Your crablings have unique traits and personalities that you need to nurture to help them grow strong and contribute to your great migration. Build coral reefs, collect food for the journey, and fend off threats that will appear along the way. Be wary, though, as you need to balance protecting the egg and growing the colony, or it will become too cumbersome to progress.

Your other important mission is to rehabilitate the ocean and create a healthy and self-sustaining ecosystem. You'll do so by cultivating various species of flora and fauna and protecting them from predators. By supporting a variety of marine life, your colony will grow and thrive. All that said, the gameplay is a little underwhelming and lacks depth, resulting in a dull and repetitive experience.

Charming but dull

All in all, Crab God is an interesting strategy adventure with plenty of charming characters and a fantastical premise that has you help revitalize the ocean world with your cute crabling colony and crab messiah. Unfortunately, the gameplay lacks depth and gets repetitive rather quickly. Hopefully, future updates can help remedy this with more content. Nevertheless, it's still worth a try.
