Find and save the Yaolings

Yaoling: Mythical Journey puts you in the shoes of a Yaoling Keeper, tasked with finding and recording these mythical creatures in your Yaoling Scroll. Travel through the Land of the Ancients, take in the distinct and visually stunning scenery, and help restore the world’s order. A dark, ancient force is corrupting these creatures, and it’s up to you to help save them.

You get to collect more than 300 types of Yaolings, with different affinities and abilities, with some of them capable of evolving into more powerful forms. With these creatures, you can create your own team to fight wild creatures. You can also challenge different Yaoling Keeper schools or assign tasks to your companions. They can build structures, mine resources, and plant fruits and vegetables.

The game offers a lot of content for you to enjoy. Thirteen unique schools, nine village companions, and five demon lords give a well-rounded story and base-building experience. Hardcore fans of other franchises might point out the glaring similarities, whether with Pokémon or the task assignment features popularized by Palworld. Still, its unique storyline and visual direction, taking cues from oriental cultures, make it stand out.

Free DLCs

Yaoling: Mythical Journey released two complimentary DLCs to enrich the experience. First is the Yaoling Tale DLC, a narrative-driven bonus that sends you into the shoes of Yun, embarking on an emotional final journey accompanied by a small Yaoling named Haku as they uncover an ancient demonic mystery. The second free add-on is the official Yaoling: Mythical Journey Soundtrack DLC, which offers the complete in-game OST album, allowing fans to enjoy the enchanting Eastern-fantasy melodies even outside the game.
