VertiGhoul is a premium adventure PC game developed by StarchX. It is a 3D vertical precision platformer featuring supernatural horror elements. In it, players will help the grim reaper capture and collect the souls of his subjects who have sprung out of control and are scattered throughout the domains of the underworld. It comes out on July 17, 2025. 

Death's bidding 

VertiGhoul takes place in the depths of Hell, wherein you play as the subject of the grim reaper, Death. You're tasked with catching subjects who have gone rogue and are now scattered throughout the underworld. Traverse multiple distinct stages as you dash from one platform to the next while collecting his skeletal minions along the way as you reach higher and higher. 

Each level has specific objectives to accomplish based on Death's List before you can clear them and move on to the next area. To add to the challenge, the game features permadeath, and one mistake could be fatal and will have you start all over again. Now, as of this writing, there are still a few weeks left before its official launch, so you'll have to wait a bit longer. 

Punishing and fast-paced 

If you're a fan of precision platformers and are looking for something new to check out, VertiGhoul is an interesting release worth considering. It's a deceptively simple vertical climbing adventure that has you collect skeletons throughout hell with nothing but your dash ability to help you. Be on the lookout for this one and try it out when it releases.
