Within the Cosmos is a premium role-playing game for PC from developer debdev. It is a first-person sci-fi adventure set in the distant future on a secluded star system. Players will navigate a fractured world wherein tension and hostilities are high between multiple factions with their own unique ideals and beliefs. 

Much like Cyberpunk 2077 or Starfield, Within the Cosmos provides an expansive journey that will take players to all kinds of locations and meet different characters with unique stories to tell. They will slowly uncover the truth behind the dystopian-like state of the world they find themselves in. 

Beyond the surface 

Within the Cosmos takes place in the year 2278, humanity is on the brink of extinction and you are one of 500 chosen for a cryogenic journey to the Adallio star system. However, something went wrong and you arrived much later than scheduled. You emerged into a divided world with multiple factions and must navigate this precarious affair to find the truth behind what happened. 

One of the game's highlight features is letting you fully personalize your character and assign attribute points depending on how you want to approach the game i.e. through force, stealth, or diplomacy. As you level up, invest in a skill tree and build to support your chosen play style. You can also customize your weapons with various attachments and add-ons to adapt to different battle situations. 

Then, there are the various factions you will encounter which you can befriend, oppose, or destroy depending on your objectives. In addition to everything, you will need to deal with the hostile android army looking to break the fragile peace in place. Now, as of this writing, the game is not available yet, so you have to wait a while longer before you get to try it out.
