VORON: Raven’s Story is an adventure game for PC developed by indie-made Merk Games. It is a story-driven journey where you take the role of a raven tasked with guiding lost souls to their final destination. Along the way, there are several puzzles to solve and interesting secrets to uncover.

VORON: A Raven’s Story is set in a Norse-inspired world. The game allows you to explore an open-world environment while learning the art of flight — from gliding and flapping, all the way to gaining access to a variety of useful abilities that should help you overcome obstacles in your way.

VORON: Raven’s Story draws inspiration from Norse mythology, offering a unique view of life and death. In this story-driven adventure with multiple endings available, you play as a raven tasked with guiding lost souls to their final resting place. The flying mechanics in this game have a steep learning curve. While flying itself is easy, it takes time to master advanced moves, including gliding and performing aerobatic maneuvers.  

Throughout the game, you can also encounter dangers that you must conquer to progress, such as flying through lava and other harsh environments.  There are no health bars for your raven, so if you collide with the environment while flying, you can simply recover and take flight again. There are also abilities you can learn, like shooting thunder, which you can use to blast through walls blocking your way. 

This game features a relaxing, small open world for you to explore, filled with serene landscapes. On top of that, the sound design fits the mood of the game perfectly and increases its immersion as you play. The music and ambience while flying through the lush landscape are just calming, and in some ways, help you focus on your objectives.
