Strand is a premium adventure PC game coming from developer Exnilo Studio. It is a sci-fi puzzler that is set in the vastness of the galaxy wherein players find themselves stranded and alone aboard a space station. They must figure out what happened while solving all kinds of problems and riddles. 

Similar to games like Outer Wilds or Stray, Strand emphasizes exploration and a story-driven experience to complement and add depth to its puzzle gameplay. There is a vast spaceship filled with highly interactive elements and set pieces for players to discover to push the story forward. 

Stranded in space 

Strand takes place in the 25th century when humanity has discovered a potential new home planet called VESTA. A maned crew aboard the A.R.E.S. Space Station was to survey this potential new colony. However, a magnetic field has thrown it into disarray and caused a mysterious phenomenon, distorting time, space, and physics. Find a way to escape while investigating the mysterious disappearance of the ship's former squad. 

The A.R.E.S. is a large vessel that is divided into multiple sections, rooms, and areas for you to explore while finding a way to escape your astral entrapment. Nearly every corner and object inside is interactable and could hold the solution if you can solve the logic-based puzzles and riddles they pose. They will test your skills of observation, reasoning, and deduction. 

A five-man crew once lived within the space station, and you will get to know more about them and their stories through the things they've left behind. Delve deeper and uncover the truth as to why they suddenly vanished. Now, as of this writing, Strand is not yet out, and there is no specific release date outside of a vague 2025 window.

Overall, Strand is an intriguing sci-fi adventure with intrigue and challenging logic puzzles to test your wits. It's also a narrative-driven experience that dives into the stories of its characters, making it feel more personal and grounded.
