Unmasked: An Inner Journey follows the story of a craftsman who, as he sits in a corner deep in thought, reflects on his life and the events that happened to him throughout the years. Then, he begins carving a mask like a craftsman would. As he stares at it, he starts to remember realizing things, prompting him to set off on a journey of self-discovery. 

Although the game is without dialogue, it contains a series of crafted vignettes that help the players unravel the storyline that happened in the craftsman’s past. It is set in his vivid and vibrant inner world that contains colorful expanses and perilous monsters, allowing users to get lost in an action-packed exploration and eventually leave them in a state of longing and reflection. 

Jump, run, and fight using wind gusts and giant machines and solve complex problems by perusing puzzles in five unique levels. The journey is accompanied by beautiful artwork that visualizes one’s inner world and an immersive soundscape that impeccably captures the mood and tone of the game. However, the game session can be too short for those looking for something lengthy.
