Created by indie developer, ExtraSharpGames, Spongebob Horror Game: Goofy Goobers is a free-to-download horror game inspired by the Spongebob Squarepants Movie released in 2004, which included the character Goofy Goobers. In this game, players are tasked to clean the Goofy Goobers Ice Cream & Fun.

Spongebob Horror Game: Goofy Goobers lets you play as the lovable Spongebob. As the said protagonist, you must clean the tables and the bar area by getting rid of the ice cream Triple Gooberberry Sunrise using Spongebob’s arm, which acts like a projectile. 

The game includes puzzles, and the clues are found within your surroundings—allowing you to exercise your observation skills. Do expect jumpscares here, too.  Unfortunately, the chase scene ruins the fun as Goofy Goober moves too fast and the blood screen filter makes navigation more irritating and stressful.

A reworked chase scene is needed

Overall, Spongebob Horror Game: Goofy Goobers is a horror title that comes bundled with a mini cleaning simulator segment. Leveraging your observation skills, though, is a must when solving puzzles. However, the chase scene needs to be improved so as to make it less rage-inducing.
