In Train Metropolis, you must run a railway company and help a town grow and flourish. Buy trains and assign them to run through multiple city districts, earning by transporting goods and passengers to different destinations. As you level up, add more districts and pick specific upgrade paths. 

How you connect districts affects your business, encouraging you to think about synergy or mutually beneficial combinations. However, it contains glaring bugs, like UI glitches and random crashes. There's even one that prevents some trains from producing revenue, diminishing its engaging level.

Simpler and more accessible 

If you've been curious about train simulators but daunted by their complexity and gameplay, Train Metropolis offers a more approachable and accessible experience that even beginners can get into. There are still plenty of issues to work out, but this game has the potential to be something fun.
