Towertale is an action game developed by MiSou Games that challenges you to engage in a boss fight after boss fight. Here, you will fight your way up the elusive tower until you reach the top and unveil its mystery. However, each level has bosses you need to defeat.

Towertale emphasizes co-op play, allowing you to play with up to four players. It also offers a different narrative and approach for each of the four characters. With this, you can explore different endings. However, you are essentially doing the same task at each level, albeit with different tools. 

Climb the peak of the tower

Towertale takes you to a fantasy world, where The Tower, created by ancient beings, lies. Legend says that if you fight your way past all its guardians, you can get the ultimate wish of getting the power to change your fate. Over the years, many adventurers have tried their luck, but no one has reached the top. Now, four new warriors are trying to conquer its levels.

You can play as one of these four new adventurers. Each character has a different narrative and approach. Additionally, their storyline moves forward differently. With this, you can play the game over and over to see its multiple endings. Having characters with different storyline saves the game from being repetitive. This is because you will be doing the same task at every level, which is to defeat the boss.

It is still a fighting game, but 99% of the time is spent in boss battles. Also, the bosses will always have a minimum of two stages. You cannot attack mindlessly. It is better to know how each boss plays. You can do so by training in the arcade mode. Or, if you want to go straight for the story mode, playing it with friends is ideal.

A decent boss rusher

Towertale is a decent boss battling game you can play if you want to face endless boss fights. It has repetitive tasks, but the diverse characters and storyline make it fresh. Additionally, you can play the game solo or with friends and adjust its difficulty to make the experience different each time. However, it lacks certain fuels to make the fire burn longer and make it an overall prominent game.
