Toukiden 2 is a game designed for personal computers which allows players to take on the role of a hunter within a vast domain. It is the second instalment associated with the series of the same name. Some feel that its overall structure and layout are similar to the Monster Hunter franchise. However, combat is fluid and more streamlined.

May Features and Gameplay

Toukiden 2 allows the player to take on the role of a character aptly named a Slayer. He or she is required to hunt another race of creatures referred to as the Oni. One of the most interesting features of this platform is that battles will take place throughout an open world. From villages to massive fields of engagement, the options are nearly as limitless as the gameplay itself. A new method known as a "dynamic targeted destruction system" is said to add a further amount of realism to the game.

Additional Options

Toukiden 2 is available in both English and Japanese. Players can compete alone while there is also a multiplayer option available. There are numerous weapons to choose from and the storyline has been influenced by Japanese mythology. This game is partially based in the cloud, so progress can be saved along the way.
