The End of Days mod is a free software patch that is intended to be used in combination with C&C: Generals Zero Hour. It provides users with additional functions while contributing to a more versatile sense of gameplay.

This modification package is primarily designed to provide players with more in-game options, particularly in terms of changing strategies to confuse and thwart the actions of any opponents. Likewise, software patches are released on a regular basis.

The addition of a new faction

The developers of this mod claim that one of their main intentions was to provide a greater sense of realism for the end user. It is for this reason that they chose to include Russia as a playable faction. Additional weaponry, such as T-14 Armata tanks, and Z-19 attack helicopters, are accessible during battles.

Changing roles

One of the most notable differences in regard to this modification involves the removal of Superweapons and Heroes from their standard roles. Superweapons are now (generally) classified as nuclear-capable items, while Heroes have been essentially upgraded to elite infantry divisions.

The notion of sub-factions

A final feature of this End of Days mod is associated with replacing generals with subsidiary factions before a battle begins. This provides a greater degree of strategic flexibility and, therefore, more interesting and unpredictable gameplay.

A greater degree of freedom

The End of Days mod is ideally suited for anyone who is already a fan of the Command & Conquer franchise. Thanks to additional improvements, such as the inclusion of a long-range missile system and three different sub-factions, action-packed gameplay has now been taken to an entirely different level.
