Free fan-inspired open-world RPG

The Big Lez Video Game is a fan-inspired RPG that mimics many of the same elements associated with the official Biz Lez Show (created by artist Jarrad Wright). It is both a first-person and a third-person shooter title set in an expansive world.

This single-player game delivers a similar first-person perspective to other bundles, such as Backrooms. However, The Big Lez Video Game focuses more on exploration and FPS gameplay rather than purely atmospheric tension or puzzle-solving, making it an excellent choice for action enthusiasts.

Envisioned by a single developer

The Big Lez Videogame was created by an individual who is a fan of the eponymous Australian television show. Therefore, all elements have been rendered to provide a decidedly unique visual appeal to its players. Nonetheless, many, if not all, NPCs should be recognizable to those familiar with the official Big Lez series, as the said characters are based on them.

One impressive feature of this game involves the sheer level of flexibility that players are provided with. They can choose from a host of ways to interact with their environment. For instance, it is possible to jump off cliffs and other terrains and parachute to locations that would have otherwise been inaccessible by foot, allowing for creative traversal and strategic decision-making.

Users can therefore equip themselves with powerful weapons, including machine guns and even rocket launchers. Other items, such as armor and other things, can be acquired as they progress within the game. There are many times when it is necessary to resist enemy attacks, so weapons are essential. However, the game tends to have one-dimensional graphics and gameplay overall.

An interesting RPG for fans of humor and comedy

While there is no doubt that a certain element of violence is present in The Big Lez Videogame, it is portrayed in a largely humorous and exaggerated way rather than a purely disturbing one. Despite this lighthearted presentation, the game still carries darker undertones that might remind players of other popular titles, such as Eggs for Bart, blending comedy with unsettling themes in a distinctive manner.

  • Pros

    • Intuitive user controls
    • An impressive level of open-world freedom
  • Cons

    • The developer claims that no future updates are planned
    • Rather one-dimensional graphics and overall gameplay
