A horror game filled with jump scares and surreal moments

Tales of the Forgotten is a horror adventure game developed by Dead Possum Games for PC. With its short, three-storyline structure, this walking simulator provides a playthrough full of jump scares and surreal moments, delivering a chilling and immersive experience that keeps players on edge as they unravel the mystery.

Three-narrative structure

Illustrated in PSX-style graphics, Tales of the Forgotten lets players experience old-school horror gameplay with multiple narratives and endings packed into one title. However, since the game's visual style reflects a console released in the 1990s, the character and environment designs have a blocky and angular appearance

You play as a new homeowner in a haunted house in the first story called Mirror, Mirror. The second story, Laundry Night, thrusts you into a laundromat alone in the middle of the night. Meanwhile, Unfinished Business, the last story, lets you play a janitor on a late-night shift.

PSX-style horror experience

Tales of the Forgotten offers a nostalgic yet chilling horror experience with its PSX-style visuals and multiple storylines. While the blocky graphics evoke the 90s era, the game’s eerie atmosphere, immersive storytelling, and jump scares deliver a memorable adventure for fans of both retro games and horror genres.
