Tied narratives 

Endless Salvation is playable in single-player mode and two-player co-op mode. The single-player mode contains three scenes and 12 frames and serves as the prequel to the co-op gameplay, tying this puzzle game's overarching storyline. However, users must purchase the game individually to play.  

Although the player and the companion must purchase the game separately for the co-op mode, which includes 18 scenes and 83 frames, there is no need for an internet connection to play together. The ultimate key to success is effective communication, whether face-to-face, over the phone, or via video.
