SWAPMEAT is an action game. It is a chaotic and inventive co-op roguelite shooter that combines fast-paced combat with a unique body-swapping mechanic. Players take on the role of "meat scientists" working for Rangus Meats, a multi-galactic corporation dedicated to discovering the ultimate sustainable meat product. This quest for the perfect meat source sends players to strange alien planets, where they must battle bizarre creatures, harvest their body parts, and swap them out to gain new abilities. 

SWAPMEAT revolves around third-person shooting, dodging enemy attacks, and strategically swapping body parts to adapt to different combat situations. 

Gather meat, upgrade, and survive the chaos 

In SWAPMEAT, players can replace their heads, torsos, and legs with those of defeated enemies, gaining special abilities that change how they play. Some body parts enhance movement speed, others provide devastating attacks, and some grant defensive buffs. This system allows for endless customization and adaptability, ensuring every run feels different. Roguelite elements keep the experience fresh by introducing randomized upgrades, weapons, and enemy encounters in each session. 

Players here must carefully manage their resources, choosing which upgrades to invest in as they progress through increasingly difficult levels. The deeper they go, the tougher the enemies become, culminating in massive boss fights that require teamwork and strategy to overcome. It is designed for co-op play, with up to four players able to team up and tackle missions together.
