Snowglobe is a VR game wherein you would find yourself alone and lost in a barren place, with a secluded temple in front of you. The game is inspired by classic point-and-click games and stands out by adding a heavy dose of VR.

Point and Click’s Heart

As aforementioned, the game is based on point and clicks of yesteryears. You would find an inventory and be collecting items and using them in different ways to keep progressing. The primary difference, however, in Snowglobe is you get functional items. The puzzle-solving entails observing the impact these items supposedly have on the virtual world, and then ascertaining how to use it to your benefit. Traditionally, point and click affairs comprise items that are useless effectively until you discover their sole purpose. Snowglobe’s core experience is about the creative usage of the items being collected. As progress is being made, you would find out more about the place, how you reached the place and how to head back home.

Short But Sweet

The game is a short adventure affair. You would be meeting interesting people enroute, exploring a strange surrounding, and collecting items that could be used inventively to bail yourself out of the rut. The gaming experience is fairly short but it’s quite interesting nonetheless and promises to be a lot more going forward. The game takes its surroundings fairly casually, unlike most other VR games. It, in fact, puts more focus on points of interest, instead of frantically looking around, which could result in the player getting tangled up in the real world.
