After every 10 rounds the player recuperates in their base where they can choose one free upgrade. Moreover, this progresses the story as Snezhinka gets introduced to her teammates.  

The sound design in the game complements the game’s gameplay well. The soundtrack features a mix of upbeat battle tunes and more subdued, atmospheric tracks that set the tone for both combat and story scenes. The catchy music enhances the overall experience, helping players get into the groove of destroying robots. However, the dialogues are not voiced, which can feel empty, especially during key story moments. 

Story-wise the game supports a decent, fun, and serious story as it follows up on the first game Marufusha: Sentinel Girls. In this game, Snezhinka enters a private military following the footsteps of her adopted sister Marufusha, in hopes of finding her. The game follows a fun dialogue, which devolves into unique interactions as the game supports multiple endings. However, the game is quite short.

Snezhinka: Sentinel Girls2 is a must-try sequel for new and returning players. The game excels at its exciting shooter combat, tying it excellently with its satisfying upgrade system. The thematic story progression and multiple endings give characters a worthwhile tale. While the game is quite short, it does not take away from the characters, progression, and fun replayability the game holds.
