In this game, you step into the shoes of a skilled young pilot, fresh from rigorous training on Huntress, the Smoke Jaguar clan's home planet. Plunged into the chaos of the Inner Sphere, you'll join a five-mech squad called Star and play a crucial role in the significant events in the BattleTech universe.

Character types 

MechWarrior 5: Clans contains three character types, namely the main protagonists, campaign villains, and other scripted characters. Said characters are played and voiced by amazing actors, immersing players in the epic tale of Mech Warrior world and its massive invasion. The main protagonists of this game include Star Commander Jayden, Ezra, Liam, Mia, and Naomi played by Rory Saper, Russell Lee, Alexander Peters, Alea O’Shea, and another unnamed actor, respectively. 

In this title, Captain Helmar Valasek, the founder and only ruler of the bandit kingdom Santander's World, is the campaign villain. As you assume the role of a recently graduated pilot, you must prove yourself worthy on the battlefield by entangling yourself with a notorious Periphery pirate of the first half of the thirty-first century. This can be done with the help of other scripted characters, including Galaxy Commander Cordera Perez, Kit Commander Ibrahim Ismiril, Sarah Weaver, and Layla.
