SkyUI’s Better Favorite Menu is a free mod for Skyrim that modifies the favorite menu for improved accessibility and navigation. It decreases favorite items’ font size and increases the number size of the menu box. This way, you can swiftly find what you’re looking for.

Customized Categorized Favorites Menu - CCFM and Updated Categorized Favorites Menu are also Skyrim mods that improve the favorites menu and make it more accessible to use. Quick and concise

With the favorite menu, you can quickly equip weapons, skills, supplies, and more. It saves a  considerable amount of time and effort while you search for an item in your inventory. The Vanilla version of Skyrim has a small favorite menu, limiting the number of items you can quickly access. 

SkyUI Better Favorite Menu, on the other hand, has a larger menu container and smaller list entries. All the items you marked as favorites can fit in the menu without the need to scroll.

SkyUI’s Better Favorite Menu is especially useful for SkyrimSouls players. SkyrimSouls is a Skyrim mod that doesn’t pause the game when you access the menu. With this mod, the game won’t pause even if you’re in combat and in need of an item that’s in your inventory. 

You’ll need to be fast to select or equip what you want. Better Favorite Menu has a bigger menu and a reduced font size to fit all the items, making scrolling unnecessary. You can quickly spot, select what you want, and get back to killing enemies before they kill you.

Requirements

To run this extension on Skyrim for Nexus, you’ll need two other mods. These are Skyrim Script Extender (SKSE64) and SkyUI. It’s also recommended to install a mod organizer so that there aren’t any conflicts or glitches.

Better and faster

SkyUI’s Better Favorite Menu lets you quickly equip and access your favorite items. When playing with a mod like SkyrimSouls, it can be quite a life-saver. However, it would’ve been handier if each of the entries had a bright designated symbol beside them for immediate identification.
