Seeds of Calamity is a premium role-playing game for PC developed by Laborious Lark Studios. It's a farming simulator adventure featuring RPG-like elements and mechanics. In it, players start a new life after a devastating calamity hits the world, leaving the survivors helpless and picking up the pieces of what's left. 

Much like Sun Haven and Stardew Valley, Seeds of Calamity offers players an experience that is a mix of farming simulation with a bit of open-world exploration. A demo version is available to newcomers to give an idea of what they can expect from the gameplay. 

Life after the calamity 

Seeds of Calamity takes place in a world that has been struck by the Great Calamity and left picking up the pieces and trying to start anew. Amid the confusion and aftermath, there's you, a budding adventurer, who will help the people get back up on their feet while going on thrilling quests to explore dungeons filled with monsters and precious resources. 

The gameplay in Seeds of Calamity revolves around two core elements, with the first having to do with building a farm with crops and livestock that can support a sustainable livelihood. You will also get to meet and interact with multiple fellow residents, helping them with various tasks and requests to revitalize the town and bring some joy back to the people. 

Once everything is tended to, you can start exploring dungeons with dangerous monsters with your magical Spellbook Companion. In return, loot all kinds of rare treasures and valuable resources to bring back with you. Now, as of this writing, the game has yet to be released and there is no news when it will come out, so you have to wait a while longer.
