ONE BTN BOSSES is a premium action game for PC from developer Midnight Munchies. It's a pixel art battler that boasts simple one-button controls wherein players will take on a wide variety of different bosses. Depending on the enemy, they will have to dodge, circle back, and time their attacks to land a proper hit. 

Akin to other games like Rhythm Doctor or A Dance of Fire and Ice, ONE BTN BOSSES utilizes rhythm-based mechanics in its gameplay. It features an original synthwave soundtrack that's seamlessly incorporated into its challenging boss battles. Precision timing is crucial to defeating bosses successfully.

One button wonder 

ONE BTN BOSSES is an unassuming game the first time you play. It features retro pixel graphics, and its core gameplay revolves around boss battles. In it, you pilot a ship that constantly orbits a boss during fights. It will fire attacks at fixed intervals as you slowly chip away at their health. Press the button to change your ship's direction to avoid incoming attacks — pretty standard stuff. 

The fun twist comes with the less you change directions, the faster your ship will move and shoot, and the quicker you can defeat bosses across 50 handcrafted levels. You do have an alternate recourse of using a Dash move instead of circling back. There's also the option to use other weapons like a laser beam if standard bullets prove to be less effective. 

Earn Grind Points with each run that you'll use to unlock more weapons, upgrades, and powerups that change the way you play in all kinds of ways. You can also engage in some roguelike action by entering the Rifts & Developments Department to take on randomly generated boss challenges for more bonus rewards. Now, as is the case with these types of games, there's a steep difficulty curve to overcome.

Its simple mechanic is utilized to its full potential to add depth and complexity to the gameplay as you come up with different build combinations to suit your play style.
