Next Run is a fantasy strategy RPG with strong roguelike elements.  At its core, this strategy game invites you to survive the onslaught of demons pouring out of the Gates of Hell. This deliberate flexibility gives each playthrough a different flavor, as you pick your class and your path through a chaotic, procedurally generated world.

Players can choose from seven unique classes, each unlocking a distinct strategy.  The world is procedurally generated, so exploration and combat are never quite the same run to run.  You also engage in economy-building such gathering resources, building structures, and trading.  Crafting and forging gear provide depth, while magic users lean into spells. 

The Gates of Hell have opened, and demonic forces threaten the world.  As the player, you must carve out your own path to victory, whether by building cities, commanding armies, or mastering magic. The story doesn’t rely on a heavy linear plot; instead, it centers around survival and choice. However, some systems may feel underdeveloped.
