MIR4 is a free-to-play role-playing game for PC developed by Wemade Next. Its gameplay boasts a mix of PVP and PVE elements, as well as various quest and mission types to perform. It even supports cross-play with other platforms like mobile devices.

Similar to Nakara: Bladepoint and Hunter's Arena: Legends, MIR4 draws inspiration from Asian mythology and folklore for its game design, character models, and narrative, with four unique character classes, each with their own unique abilities, to choose from depending on players' preferred play style.

What is it about?

MIR4 is an online multiplayer RPG that is set in the world of MIR. When you first start playing, you will be able to choose from among four character classes, namely a Warrior, Lancer, Sorcerer, or a Taoist. Each one has its own strengths and abilities that contribute to battles. The thing that makes this game rather unique is that it lets you play how you want.

In MIR4, you can choose what path to take. You could start off with a simple journey, crafting, gathering, and hunting. Alternatively, you can join a clan and participate in large-scale battles with allies or against other enemy factions. You can also try to capture the Hidden Valley and collect taxes from it. Raids allow up to 50 players in a quest to find rare loot.

There's a Free Loot System in place wherein players only have 30 seconds to secure and collect any dropped loot or attempt to claim it for themselves in pivotal skirmishes for rights. However, the constant server and connection issues, as well as the prevalence of bots in-game, will prevent you from truly experiencing all that this game has to offer.

Filled with untapped potential

All in all, MIR4 is an MMORPG filled with potential. Its premise is interesting, the graphics look great, and it offers plenty of things to do. However, it is held back by some rather major issues and concerns. Until they are properly addressed, it is a little difficult to recommend in its current state. If you're interested in playing it, best to wait for now.
