See an artist’s version of the micro world in VR
Micro Cosmic Worlds puts you in a virtual kitchen where you may shrink yourself to see what the artists thinks is the world from a smaller perspective. You can romp around in the fibres of the carpet, or dive deeper into than microscopic world.
See an artist’s rendering of the micro world
Micro Cosmic Worlds is one of the first VR games that used virtual reality in a way that allowed people to see the world from a microscopic point of view. Sadly, it is not photo-realistic, nor is it built from actual microscopic photography. You are placed in a kitchen, and you may select areas to zoom in to so that it feels as if you are shrinking. After you hit a certain zoom level, you may walk around and explore. Obviously, what you are seeing is a guess, as the developers have only recreated what they have seen through microscopic photography. For example, you get to see viruses and atoms, when nobody is actually sure what they look like.
Micro Cosmic Worlds
Micro Cosmic Worlds was not built from actual microscopic photography and it doesn't have photo-realistic graphics. As a result, the experience is interesting, but overall forgettable. Micro Cosmic Worlds is a victim of its time through the fact that VR graphics and technology were not great when this game was released. The game offers a nice diversion, but is sadly let down by technological limitations and graphics.
