Mecha BREAK Demo is the trial version of the massively multiplayer online action game Mecha BREA developed by Amazing Seasun Games for PC. In this third-person shooter title, players are thrust into the world of mechs, where they indulge in intense and thrilling aerial and ground battles across dangerous landscapes.

Play as an unlikely hero 

Mecha BREAK Demo’s narrative follows the aftermath of the Catastrophe, a global cataclysm that shook the energy industry. A new force of hope began to rise, offering a chance for rebirth and renewal in the form of Corite—a naturally occurring, inorganic solid substance. However, this new gift comes with a heavy toll, gradually engulfing the remaining habitable territories on the planet. 

In this shooter game, you take on the role of an unlikely hero—the pilot of the third-generation BREAK Striker—engaging in intense battles using a variety of mechs, including assault, melee, sniper, reconnaissance, and support types. The game features three unique modes: 3v3 Deathmatch, 6v6 Hero Shooter, and PvPvE Extraction Shooter, though only a limited number of characters are available to play at the start. 

Unfortunately, this title has a lot to work on to improve itself. Although it’s a given to have limited playable characters in games, this particular title requires users to grind extensively, causing progression to feel too slow. More importantly, it forces players who want to play together to switch regions, requiring them to grind from scratch again, not to mention the convoluted menu with unnecessary steps. 

Action-packed mech world 

Mecha BREAK Demo offers an exciting glimpse into a futuristic, mech-filled world with engaging combat and innovative team-based mechanics. However, the game’s heavy reliance on grinding and the need to switch regions for multiplayer detracts from its overall experience. The convoluted menu further complicates the gameplay. Despite these issues, the game’s potential for thrilling PvP and cooperative action remains clear, leaving hope for future improvements in the full release.
